GDPR Privacy Notice and Data Management Statement – BIM4D Training Platform
Data Controllers
Personal data collected through the BIM4D e‑learning platform are jointly processed by:

GZS – Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia,
Chamber of Construction and Building Materials Industry (ZGIGM), Ljubljana, Slovenia
GZS ZGIGM is responsible for the technical operation, hosting and maintenance of the BIM4D training platform and covers these costs within the framework of the Erasmus+ BIM4D project.

Project Identification
The BIM4D training platform is developed and operated within the Erasmus+ project:
BIM4D – Developing Green and Digital Skills for the Use of BIM at End‑of‑Life Practices
- Programme: Erasmus+ KA2 – Cooperation Partnerships in VET
- Duration: 1 March 2024 – 28 February 2026
- Grant Agreement No.: 2023‑1‑EL01‑KA220‑VET‑000158810
Purpose of Data Processing
By registering on and using the BIM4D training platform, users acknowledge that the following personal data may be collected and processed:
- name and surname
- email address
- login credentials
- learning progress, quiz results and certification status
Personal data are processed exclusively for the following purposes:
- enabling registration, access and participation in the BIM4D e‑learning platform;
- monitoring learning progress and quiz results;
- issuing a personalised digital Certificate of Completion upon successful completion of the course;
- allowing authorised project administrators to monitor aggregated participation data for educational and reporting purposes;
- fulfilling Erasmus+ project reporting obligations;
- producing anonymous statistical analyses to improve training content and evaluate project impact.
Data Retention and Security
Personal data are processed only for the duration of the BIM4D project and, where required by the Erasmus+ Grant Agreement, securely stored for a period of up to five (5) years after project completion.
No personal data are shared with third parties outside the BIM4D project consortium and no data are transferred outside the European Economic Area, unless required by EU law and subject to appropriate safeguards.
Rights of Data Subjects
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), users have the right to:
- access their personal data;
- request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure of personal data where legally applicable;
- request restriction of processing;
- object to processing where legitimate grounds apply;
- request data portability;
- lodge a complaint with a competent national data protection authority.

Awareness and Use of the Platform
By accessing and using the BIM4D training platform, users confirm that they have been informed about the processing of their personal data as described above.
No additional consent boxes or confirmations are required for standard participation in the training.
